The goddess Ratri is a minor character in Roger Zelazny's science fiction novel Lord of Light, who encounters and aids the protagonist in his battle against the other gods.
Ratri as her characters name, fell in love with a guerrilla freedom fighter (played by Asaduzzaman Noor) who lived in their house during the war for shelter.
Maa Kala Ratri is the seventh form amongst the Navadurga or the nine forms of the Hindu goddess Parvati or (Shakti).
