In 2006, he became co-trainer to Rauf Inileev of the Uzbekistan national and Uzbekistan Olympic football team.
On November 28, 2007 AFC named Rauf Inileev as AFC Asian Coach of Year for impressive campaign of national team at 2007 AFC Asian Cup.

As coach of Uzbekistan U-23 Inileev guided the U-23 team to the last eight of 2006 Asian Games in Doha.
