Red Circle Comics

Archie planned to begin publishing superheroes again in the late 1980s with an imprint called Spectrum Comics, featuring a number of high-profile talents, including Steve Englehart, Jim Valentino, Marv Wolfman, Michael Bair, Kelley Jones, and Rob Liefeld.

Red Circle published one issue of The Super Cops (based on the movie of the same name) in July 1974.


Alan Class Comics

These were from U.S. comics publishers such as Timely, Atlas - and their later incarnation, Marvel Comics - ACG, Charlton, Archie and their Red Circle and M.L.J imprints, Fawcett, King Features comics and newspaper strips, Lev Gleason and Sterling.

The Super Cops

The Archie Comics superhero imprint Red Circle Comics published one issue of a Super Cops comic book (with stories written by Marv Channing) in July 1974.

Vicente Alcazar

At the recommendation of artist Gray Morrow, then editing then Archie Comics' imprint Red Circle Comics, American publishers began using Alcazar's work in the mid-1970s.
