Forrest Redlich is an Australian independent writer/producer of films and TV best known for creating E Street.
From 1929 until 1931, Redlich studied musicology at Frankfurt University and completed a dissertation on stylistic changes in Monteverdi's madrigals.
The eponymous Obersteiner–Redlich line is named after him, along with Emil Redlich (1866–1930).
He is best known for the role of Walter Redlich in Nowhere in Africa.
Following a leak to right-wing politicians, on May 5, 1964, Ralph F. Beermann accused Redlich of defending Cuba on various issues.
