Regis College is a theological college of the University of Toronto, founded in 1930 and affiliated with the Society of Jesus.

The building was the former home of William Mellis Christie and after his death it was the residence of his son Robert Jaffrey.
Upon awarding him with the Civis Princeps award in 1972, Regis College noted that "many a good and generous man aspires to put a personal mark on his own city. Few have done so as indelibly – though as unobtrusively – as Saco Rienk DeBoer."

Her teaching posts have included a position in music theory on the faculty at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, a year at Framingham State College in Massachusetts, and her current job since 1997 as an adjunct professor at Regis College.
