He was also responsible for marketing and formed part of the team negotiating with foreign companies in acquiring projects such as Cutthroat Island, White Squall, Skipper and several other films, including various productions of commercials such as Pasta Agnesi, Repsol Oil, Zurich Insurance, Russian Vodka, Borsh, Citroën, Renault 19 and others.
The tower was originally intended for the Spanish company Repsol, and the principal architect was Norman Foster.

A full-scale prototype was constructed in 2011 by Windplus, a joint-venture between EDP, Repsol, Principle Power, A. Silva Matos, Inovcapital, and FAI.
In 2008 he returned to the business world as president of Petronor, a Repsol group company headquartered in Muskiz, near Bilbao.
The company transports refined petroleum products by road and distributes products for Repsol, Endesa and Gas Natural.
