Since 1997 it has broadcast for a few weeks each year on FM under a Restricted Service Licence, issued by Ofcom, originally under the name "Pudsey Grangefield FM", later abbreviated to PGFM.

The Superstation started broadcasting under a 3 month trial Restricted Service Licence awarded by Ofcom on Saturday September 4, 2004, from the MV Communicator, berthed at St Margaret's Hope.
Along with Bexhill College the school operates Bexhill FM, a Restricted Service Licence FM frequency station which broadcasts for a few weeks a year to the Bexhill area.
In 2003, Hayes FM undertook a Restricted Service Licence RSL for one month.
