Upon completing high school, Mthombeni enrolled at the University of Venda, where she studied for a Bachelor of Commerce in Tourism Management and participated in soccer and cricket.
Magubane was retained as producer and is currently working with Sydney Baloyi and Conny Mashimbye with Rhandzu Mthombeni running the sports desk on the show.
