Its first student, William Henry Miller, dropped out, but later designed many iconic buildings on campus including Risley Hall, Uris Library and its adjoining McGraw Tower, the presidential mansion (today known as the A.D. White House), and Boardman Hall, the original home of the Law School.
After Risley Hall was designed as a women's residence hall in 1911, work began on the construction of a men's residence hall complex on West Campus.
Korf grew up in Ithaca, NY, and attended Cornell University, where she lived in Risley Residential College for the Creative and Performing Arts.
