Dunton Green is a small village (forming a northern suburb of Sevenoaks) and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England, lying in the valley of the River Darent, three miles north of Sevenoaks.
One of his apprentices was Nicholas Tapsfield, who was later to work at the paper mill at Sundridge.
The village is located on the River Darent, flowing north down its valley from its source on the North Downs.

The village is a key stopping-off point on the North Downs Way which runs through the village as it crosses the Darent Valley, intersecting the Darent Valley Path.
The Riverhead parkland is part of the former Montreal Park (the remaining part is an estate of detached homes) and offers walks and children's recreation areas traversing the wealden greensand vale of the Darent Valley between Riverhead Infants School and Brittains Lane, Sevenoaks.
It lies to the south of the urban part of the Borough, and consists of the two settlements named, both to the west of the River Darent, one of the parish boundaries.
Kingsdown, the former name of West Kingsdown village, traces its origins back to Anglo-Saxon settlements in the woods above the Darenth Valley.
