3 unusual facts about Riviera di Chiaia

Riviera di Chiaia

The Riviera di Chiaia (Chiaia's Riviera) is a long street in the Italian city of Naples, running along the coast of the Gulf of Naples.

Mark Twain calls this street "Riviere di Chiaja" in his book The Innocents Abroad.

Villa Pignatelli

The villa is perhaps the most striking building along the Riviera di Chiaia, the road bounding the north side of the Villa Comunale on the sea front between Mergellina and Piazza Vittoria.
