Roan Ching-Yueh (阮慶岳 born in 1958 in Taipei, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese architect, writer, curator and an Associate Professor of Department of Art Creativity and Development, Yuan Ze University.

On May 27, 2008, Dragon Dynasty released their own edition with an improved transfer, the original Mandarin mono soundtrack and exclusive supplements, including a newly recorded audio commentary with Bey Logan and Cheng Pei-pei, trailers, a retrospective with Bey Logan and interviews with the cast (Cheng Pei-pei, Yueh Hua) and director King Hu.
Ma Yueh-liang and Wu Ying-hua are survived by several children and grandchildren, including: Ma Jiangchun (b. 1931), Dr. Ma Hailong (b. 1935), Ma Jiang Bao (b. 1941), and Ma Jiangling (b. 1947).
