The station helped launch the broadcasting careers of Julie McCrossin, Robbie Buck, Helen Razer, Eleanor Hall, Fenella Kernebone and Jonathan Harley - all of whom started out on the station as volunteers.
Robbie subsequently joined Lindsay McDougall and Marieke Hardy to host the new breakfast show, Robbie, Marieke and The Doctor.
On December 6, 2007, Vijay Khurana was announced as weekday lunch presenter on Triple J (12-3pm), replacing previous presenter Linda Marigliano, who in turn replaced Robbie Buck on the weekday Drive show (3pm-5.30pm) alongside Scott Dooley (Dools).

The Doctor continued to host the weekday breakfast shift program with Robbie Buck and Marieke Hardy Until the end of 2009 and now hosts the afternoon drive program from 3-5:30pm weekdays replacing Scott Dooley.
