In 1996, a remake of Humanoids from the Deep was produced for Showtime by Corman's production company, Concorde-New Horizons, starring Robert Carradine and Emma Samms.

During his first day at Central High, David sees the three bullies order Spoony (Robert Carradine), a semi-skinhead and radical, to wash off a swastika he painted on his locker.

The cast was largely made up of unknowns, but included well-known actors Robert Carradine, Lani O'Grady, Kimberly Beck, and Andrew Stevens.

In January 2013, he and former Revenge of the Nerds co-star, Curtis Armstrong, will host King of the Nerds, a reality TV series in which a group of nerds compete to find out which one is the nerdiest.

The youngest of the Carradine family of actors, he made his first appearances on television western series such as Bonanza and his older brother David's TV series, Kung Fu.
