Futures Without Violence

A national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) in collaboration with Futures Without Violence, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Blue Shield of California Foundation are investing $18 million in 11 Start Strong communities across the country to identify and evaluate best practices in prevention to stop dating violence and abuse before it starts.

A March 2011 study by the University of Wisconsin and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation ranked Lac qui Parle County the healthiest county in Minnesota.

Radio Bilingüe

Its funders include the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, The California Endowment, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the National Endowment for the Arts, the California Arts Council, the California State Health Department - Tobacco Control Section, and many other funding partners interested in informing hard-to-reach, low-income, Latino populations in California and across the U.S.

The American Beverage Institute, a restaurant industry trade group which opposes many anti-drunk-driving measures, and the Center for Consumer Freedom, a coalition of restaurant and food companies (quoting the American Beverage Institute), have labeled RWJF as anti-alcohol or neo-prohibitionist.

The Hitachi Foundation

The Hitachi Foundation also joined with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to launch Jobs to Careers: Promoting Work Based Learning for Quality Care.

Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse

The Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse at the American Medical Association (AMA) was established by the temperance-oriented Robert Wood Johnson Foundation with an initial grant of $5 million, followed by more substantial funding.
