When Norris announced on the show in May 2002 that his wife Allison had become pregnant by means other than sexual intercourse, fellow Stern staffer Robin Quivers stated that she knew if Fred was going to have a child it would "have to be a science project."
In August 2007, comedian Jim Florentine asked Quivers on the air to go on a date with him.
