Barry Serafin

An Oregon native, born in Coquille, and raised in Roseburg, Serafin graduated from Washington State University in 1964, and began his journalism career at the University's public radio station.

Binger Hermann

Hermann also served as deputy collector of internal revenue for southern Oregon from 1868 to 1871 and receiver of public moneys at the United States land office in Roseburg from 1871 to 1873 and was a colonel in the Oregon State Militia from 1882 to 1884.

Peter Rühmkorf

Peter Rühmkorf (Dortmund, 25 October 1929 – Roseburg, Schleswig-Holstein, 8 June 2008) was a German writer who significantly influenced German post-war literature.


Jim Feldkamp
