Schumacher was warned over the radio several times for blocking by team principal Ross Brawn; Schumacher was taking a defensive line going into the Ascari chicane before cutting back over to the racing line.
Following Ross Brawn's decision to take a year's sabbatical leave at the end of 2006, Baldisserri was chosen to temporarily replace Ross Brawn in the hope that he would return to Ferrari from his sabbatical in 2007.
