During his tenure with Singing City the choir has traveled to Cuba, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, presented more than one hundred-fifty concerts, performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, and worked with such internationally renowned artists as Helmuth Rilling, Dave Brubeck, Nick Page, Moses Hogan, Andre Thomas, Anton Armstrong, and Weston Noble, and Rossen Milanov.
She is the daughter of television presenter Poncho D'Alessio and was previously married to actors Jorge Vargas and Sabú (from Argentina) as well as to footballers Carlos Reinoso (from Chile) and Julio Canessa (from Uruguay), musician César Gómez and model Christian Rössen (from Germany).
Since 1992 the New Symphony Orchestra has been conducted by Maestro Rossen Milanov, associate conductor of The Philadelphia Orchestra, who became its Music Director in 1997.
It is named after the necropolis of Rössen (part of Leuna, in the Saalekreis district, Saxony-Anhalt).
