He represented Rossland-Trail in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1958 to 1972 as a Social Credit member.
In the 1941 provincial election he won a seat in the British Columbia Legislative Assembly becoming the CCF Member of the Legislative Assembly for Rossland-Trail.

It is named for Nancy Greene, Canadian Olympic medallist in downhill skiing, who is a native of Rossland.
