Its territory corresponded with that of the current municipal units Gortyna, Moires, Rouvas and Zaros.
Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Gortyn, of which it is a municipal unit.
The audio collection is a near-complete compilation of Rouvas' first works under the PolyGram Greece record company and included hits from his first five albums (Sakis Rouvas, Min Andistekese, Gia Sena, Aima, Dakrya & Idrotas, and Tora Arhizoun Ta Dyskola) that have been divided into three categories: The Hit Singles, Love Songs, and The Remixes + Rest of the Best.
Originally, Proto Thema reported that the music video would be shot in the week following the Balkan Music Awards, held on 16 May 2010, where Rouvas won the award for Best Balkan Song from Greece for his previous single, and, according to the newspaper, had planned to perform the song at the ceremony in Sofia, Bulgaria.

For the live performance of the song it is played with smoke and bright green and pink lights in the background as Rouvas sings standing in front of a microphone stand while playing his black Gibson Les Paul.
The previous year Rouvas had conducted a large tour across Greece for charity due to the 2007 Greek forest fires, however, this was his first personal tour in two years.
De Leeuw also remarked that Rouvas and his female co-presenter Maria Menounos reminded him of Will & Grace.
Rouvas also revealed that he has landed his first Hollywood film in the psychological thriller Duress playing the primary antagonist role of Abner Solvie, a charismatic killer, alongside actors Martin Donovan and Billy Wirth.
