Thomas Corbett, 2nd Baron Rowallan | Rowallan Castle | Archibald Corbett, 1st Baron Rowallan |
Captain Arthur Cameron Corbett, 3rd Baron Rowallan (17 December 1919 – 1993), was a British aristocrat most notable for successfully having his second marriage annulled in 1970 by a court on the grounds that his wife, April Ashley, a transsexual woman, was a man under then-current UK law.
The 4th Lord Rowallan inherited Rowallan Castle, the family seat, directly from his grandfather, the 2nd Lord Rowallan, in 1977.
Amongst the park's owners were Walter Crum of Thornliebank and Archibald Cameron Corbett, M.P. for Tradeston, Glasgow (later Lord Rowallan) who gifted the estate and mansion house to the citizens of Glasgow.
