Part of the line still exists at the Scunthorpe end and is used to access a landfill site near Roxby which receives trainloads of household rubbish from various locations in the Greater Manchester area.
He has also made theatrical and television appearances (i.e.The Goodies, Rowan and Martin's Laugh In, Not Only But Also, and The Establishment).
On 28 March 2010, Sodexo and Billycart Kids sponsored the first Roxby Billycart Bash, in Roxby Downs.
