Roy Grounds

In 1959 the firm was awarded the commission to design the National Gallery of Victoria and Arts Centre, with Grounds named in the contract as the architect in charge.

Much of the theatres' interior designs were completed by John Truscott.

Zara Bate

In 1925, aged 19, she and her friend Bettine 'Betty' James (later the wife of Sir Roy Grounds) established a dress shop in Little Collins Street.
