Sergei Rudenko (1885-1969), Soviet anthropologist and archaeologist
Clarke peppered the novel with names of various Soviet dissidents, including physicists Andrei Sakharov and Yuri Orlov, human-rights activists Mykola Rudenko and Anatoly Marchenko, Russian Orthodox activist Gleb Yakunin, among others.
From 1900 she was one of the most renown teachers of voice in Ukraine and schooled over 400 singers, among them Miliza Korjus, Zoia Gaidai, Ivan Kozlovsky, Larissa Rudenko, and Elena Petlyash.
Taylor Atelian is trained in tap, ballet and jazz and attends the Rudenko School of Dance and has appeared in numerous productions including Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, and Babes in Toyland, at the Lobero Theatre.
