Zelko landed in a field south of Ruma and quickly concealed himself in a drainage ditch.
The brigade was formed on June 4, 2007 in Niš from former 202nd Mixed Artillery Brigade (formed in 1988) and the mixed artillery battalion from Ruma.
It included the clubs from the territory of the province (župa) of Novi Sad - the municipalities of Novi Sad, Sremska Mitrovica, Ruma and Šabac.
Until 1960, villages of present-day Pećinci municipality were part of the municipalities of Ruma, Stara Pazova and Zemun (village of Pećinci itself was part of Zemun municipality).
It was later renamed “Ruma” after one of Kenya’s most powerful wizard, the much feared Gor Mahia who lived around the park (affiliated to Gor Mahia F.C.).

Dubbed the "Last Retreat of the Roan Antelope", Ruma National Park is the only terrestrial park in Nyanza Province.
