From the summer of 2000 until December 2004 Rahmen was head coach of SC Dornach in the 1. Liga.
Started playing in goal at the age of eight and progressed steadily through the youth ranks in Switzerland (Basel and Geneva regions), including SC Dornach, FC Stade Nyonnais and Prangin FC.
