Following the crisis in December, Somare directed Governor-General Sir Michael Ogio to appoint Sasa as the commander of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF).
Children in the community learn in external schools: "Nof Harim" elementary school in Sasa, "Anne Frank" high school in Sasa, "Har VeGai" high school, and Einot Yarden high school.

Croatia Records published their album Instant in 2004, with thirteen songs written mostly by Boris Đurđević and Faruk Buljubašić.
The album, like the previous, was produced by Đorđe Petrović, and featured fourteen songs, including "Brate Murate" which was previously released on single and produced by Aleksandar "Saša" Habić.
