The Lambton Worm is an old folk tale, similar to the tale of Saint George and the Dragon, going back centuries which was turned into a children’s Pantomime.
The Princess in the group of sculptures "Sankt Göran och Draken" (Saint George and the Dragon) in the Storkyrkan in Stockholm, which were made in 1471-1475, are considered to bear the features of Ingeborg.
Her 1985 book Saint George and the Dragon, illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman, won the Caldecott Medal of the American Library Association.
