Originally, complex was built in 1938 in the modern neighborhood of Sajmište in Novi Beograd, across the Sava.

Most Jewish men perished at the Autokomanda site near the city center, apart from those killed at the Banjica camp; the camp at Sajmište was on Independent State of Croatia territory and it mostly saw the destruction of women and children.
The band won the first place on second Gitarijada festival held at the Belgrade Sajmište (not to be confused with Gitarijada festival held in Zaječar).
The municipality included the city quarters of Detelinara, Sajmište, Banatić, Avijatičarsko Naselje, Jugovićevo, Industrijska Zona Jug, Industrijska Zona Sever, Gornje Livade and Rimski Šančevi, and the villages of Rumenka, Kisač, and Stepanovićevo.
The success of the EP release resulted in their winning the 1966 Sajmište Guitar festival, their appearance at the Ponoćna zvona (Midnight Bells) concert held in Belgrade in front of two thousand people, and the recording of a short television movie, made at the Belgrade Zoo.
