The earliest incarnation of the group, which was founded in Hamburg in 1984 by Peter Missing, included Sascha Konietzko and En Esch of industrial act KMFDM, who were only with Missing Foundation briefly before going their own way.
PROLET•KULT is the debut release by Sascha Konietzko (of KMFDM) under the name of his solo project, OK•ZTEIN•OK.

Members Raymond Watts (vocals, programming, guitar) and Hisashi Imai (Buck-Tick; guitar and noise), both having worked together in Schaft, were joined by Atsushi Sakurai (Buck-Tick; vocals), Sascha Konietzko (KMFDM; vocals and programming) and Lucia Cifarelli (KMFDM; vocals).
Skold vs. KMFDM is a full-length album featuring Sascha Konietzko of KMFDM and Tim Sköld.
Multi-instrumentalists Sascha Konietzko and En Esch brought on board drummer Rudolph Naomi, who had previously worked with the group in the mid-1980s, as well as reggae vocalist Morgan Adjei.
The regular line-up of Sascha Konietzko, Lucia Cifarelli, Jules Hodgson, Andy Selway, and Steve White was joined by a handful of musicians from other industrial and alternative metal acts.
