Later in 1988, the actors would reprise their roles in their own recurring sketches on the Saturday Morning children's show, Hey Vern, It's Ernest!, where, depending on the episode's specific theme, the brothers would usually get involved with whatever it was that Ernest was involving himself in, such as a bake sale, or a talent show.

Mervyn Stockwood

Stockwood is remembered for his appearance on the BBC chat show Friday Night, Saturday Morning at the end of September 1979, with Christian broadcaster Malcolm Muggeridge, arguing that the film Monty Python's Life of Brian was blasphemous.


Partridge Family 2200 A.D.

Sixteen half-hour episodes were produced for Partridge Family 2200 A.D., which lasted half a season on CBS Saturday morning (September 7, 1974 - March 8, 1975); in 1977, it was re-titled The Partridge Family in Outer Space when episodes were rerun on the syndicated weekday series Fred Flintstone and Friends.

Tanya Donelly

The 1995 tribute album Saturday Morning: Cartoons' Greatest Hits, produced by Ralph Sall for MCA Records, included the cover of "Josie and the Pussycats" performed by Tanya Donelly and Juliana Hatfield.

The Flintstone Comedy Hour

For the 1973-74 season, CBS dropped The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show episodes and repackaged the first half-hour segments of The Flintstone Comedy Hour in reruns under the new title The Flintstone Comedy Show from September 8, 1973 to January 26, 1974; these segments were later featured on the syndicated weekday series Fred Flintstone and Friends in 1977.
