A.Skillz kicked off 2005 in January with a mini-mix for Annie Mac that was later voted best mini-mix of the year by Radio 1 listeners, beating industry heavyweights such as Basement Jaxx, Mylo and Scratch Perverts.
Dented Artists have collaborated with Björk, Cuts for Gorillaz remix, Scratch Perverts, Plan B, Dudley Perkins, Wildchild (lootpack) OhNo, Roc C, R. A. The Rugged Man, Dabrye, Canibuss, K-Solo, Vex'd, Skinnyman, Jehst, DJ Vadim, Natalie Williams, Rodney P, Skitz, Euphrates, Niraj Chaag, Dum Dum Project, Taskforce, Doujah Raze, Puto Largo, SFDK (Spain), Micky Finn, Baby J, and others.
Following this, Dynamite collaborated with a range of artists including The Nextmen, High Contrast, Caspa, Netsky, DJ Skitz, Scratch Perverts, Andy C and DJ Zinc, releasing a solo album The World of Dynamite (2004).
Since being founded in 1998, it has hosted a number of notable artists and performers including Buzzcocks, The Blockheads, Hayseed Dixie, Andy C, Rusko, Pulled Apart by Horses, Two Door Cinema Club, Scratch Perverts, Krafty Kutz, Sub Focus, Alabama 3, The Correspondents, Vintage Trouble, Toddla T, Foreign Beggars, and comedians Phill Jupitus, Stephen Frost and Russell Howard.
2500 people travelled to Senga Bay to see Seth Lakeman, Scratch Perverts, BBC Radio 1’s Mary Anne Hobbs, BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Skitz, Man Like Me, Fabric’s Ali B play, alongside many local African acts.
