Adolf Schwarz (31 October 1836, Galszecs, Hungary, now Sečovce, Slovakia – 25 October 1910, Vienna) was an Austria-Hungarian chess master.
He was born at Kohány (today Kochanovce, suburb of Sečovce) in the county of Zemplén, and was educated for the law at the Protestant college of Sárospatak.
