During this walk is the silhouette of the Saint-mals, a tour of the 14th century now protecting the Christ of the former cloister of the Priory or a cottage in the 18th century with iris and Sedum s on the ridge.
Above the shrublands are alpine meadows which support a variety of herbaceous plants, including species of Alchemilla, Androsace, Anemone, Diapensia, Draba, Gentiana, Impatiens, Leontopodium, Meconopsis, Pedicularis, Potentilla, Primula, Rhododendron, Saussurea, Saxifraga, Sedum, and Viola.

Environmentally, a large section of the roof has been covered in Sedum in a direct attempt to reduce the carbon footprint of Victoria Square.
