The song was subsequently included on Seger's April 1969 album Ramblin' Gamblin' Man.
He has since continued work with many artists including Etheridge, and Seger, with whom he worked with for 11 years to finish his Solo Album, Face the Promise.
On February 28, 2011, Seger finally released his version of the song as a single, which appears on the retrospective album Ultimate Hits: Rock and Roll Never Forgets.
