Admiralty FC

Admiralty FC started off in 1987 as a participant of the Sembawang Group League, a mini league organized by the Football Association of Singapore which involved amateur clubs based in the Sembawang area in the 1980s.

No. 21 Squadron RAAF

In early 1941, No. 21 Squadron, the squadron was re-designated a fighter unit and was sent to Sembawang to re-equip with the Brewster Buffalo.


Admiralty MRT Station

Station installed with Rite Hite Revolution High Volume, Low Speed (HVLS) fans and commenced operations on 9 November 2012 together with Sembawang.

Nee Soon South Single Member Constituency

NZFORSEA consisted of 1 Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment (RNZIR), which was based at Dieppe Barracks near Yishun New Town, No. 141 Flight of Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF), with its Bell UH-1D/H Hueys based at Sembawang Air Base and frequent deployments of Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) frigates.

Woodgrove Secondary School

The school was founded by pioneer Principal Mrs Helena Song Kheng Sin in year 2000, and opened by Dr Maliki Osman, MP for Sembawang GRC in 5 July 2002.
