She remained a frequent performer at the Hungarian State Opera House and appeared often as a guest at the Bavarian State Opera, Berlin State Opera, and Semperoper under such conductors as Karl Böhm, Victor de Sabata, Wilhelm Furtwängler, Hans Knappertsbusch, Clemens Krauss, and Josef Krips.
Her performance credits include appearances at the Berlin State Opera, the National Theatre in Belgrade, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, the Edinburgh Festival, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Hungarian State Opera House, La Monnaie, De Nederlandse Opera, the Opéra National de Bordeaux, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, the Semperoper, the Teatro Massimo, and the Teatro Real among others.
Moving to Berlin with the company, she studied singing with Oskar Daniel for three months and made her debut as an operatic singer by singing Mimi in Puccini's opera La Bohème at Dresden Semperoper on 15 March 1931.
He has appeared at the Gewandhaus, Leipzig, the Semperoper, Dresden, the Liederhalle, Stuttgart, the Salle Cortot, Paris, the Konzertsaal of the Meistersinger Conservatorium and Meistersingerhalle the Martha Kirche in Nuremberg and at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.
His 2000 production in Dresden of Die Csárdásfürstin, an operetta by Emmerich Kálmán, set by Konwitschny in World War I trenches, turned into a scandal and a lawsuit when the director of the Semperoper cancelled two scenes of Konwitschny's production.
