On March 3, 2013, La Fiebre Amarilla ("The Yellow Fever"; Namajague and Okumura) defeated Fuego and Stuka, Jr. to become the third modern age CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Champions, ending the previous champions' four and a half year reign.
The participants were separated into two separate blocks; Shigeo Okumura, Nobukazu Hirai, Hideki Hosaka, Hi69, Mitsuya Nagai and Ryuji Hijikata were in "Block A" and Nobutaka Araya, Yaz Urano, Tomoaki Honma, Gran Naniwa, Kazushi Miyamoto, and Masato Tanaka were in "Block B".
The first cibernetico took place on September 23 and was won by Volador Jr., who outlasted Delta, Guerrero Maya, Jr., La Máscara, Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro, Pólvora, Puma King, Shigeo Okumura, Stuka, Jr., Tiger and Valiente.
