In 2005 at AJ6's national conference, Shlomi, a small town on the northern Israeli border was made a region, making AJ6 an international movement.

Gerber’s first full length album ‘Late Bloomers’ was released on Sven Väth’s Cocoon imprint in June 2007 and featured two worldwide club hits in ‘Belly Dancing’ and ‘Sea Of Sand’ which he recorded with his Israeli production friend Shlomi Aber.
Shlomi Shabat was one of the judges in the inaugural season of The Voice Israel on Israeli television.
