The 1979 World Taekwondo Championships are the 4th edition of the World Taekwondo Championships, and were held in Sindelfingen, Stuttgart, West Germany from October 26 to October 28, 1979.
Two-door saloon and cabriolet bodies were manufactured, at first by Daimler-Benz's coachworks in Sindelfingen, and later by Ambi-Budd in Berlin.
The other PDC tournaments he participated in were the 7 European Tour Qualifiers, qualifying in 2013 PDC European Tour Event 2 (Sindelfingen, Germany where he lost to Michael van Gerwen in the first round) and in 2013 PDC European Tour Event 5 (Gibraltar, where he lost to Jamie Caven in the first round).
World masters championships have been held outdoors every two years ever since, and a biennial World Masters Indoor Championships debuted in March 2004 in Sindelfingen, Germany.
It was built in the Sindelfingen Works factory, which assembled the Mercedes Ponton Model series to which the engine belonged to.
The Federal Railway Authority (Eisenbahn-Bundesamt) approved at the beginning of May 2007 the second "Sindelfingen" planning section and the Verband Region Stuttgart (which coordinates public transport in the Stuttgart Region) issued zoning approval for it.
