The Bridgeman Baronetcy, of Ridley in the County of Chester, was created on 12 November 1773 for Orlando Bridgeman, Member of Parliament for Horsham and younger son of the 1st Baronet, of the Great Lever creation.

Robert Wilmot-Horton, 3rd Baronet

Born Robert John Wilmot, Wilmot-Horton was the only son of Sir Robert Wilmot, 2nd Baronet, of Osmaston, near Derby (see Wilmot baronets), and his first wife Juliana Elizabeth (née Byron).

Sir Robert Wilmot, 1st Baronet

Robert Wilmot was the elder son of Robert Wilmot (died 1738) of Osmaston Hall, and his younger brother was the judge John Eardley Wilmot (1709-1792).

The papers relating to his official activities are held at Derbyshire Record Office, with copies at the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland.
