"Lies of the Beautiful People" is the first single from Sixx:A.M.'s second studio album This Is Gonna Hurt, released on March 1, 2011.
The group is best known for their songs "Life Is Beautiful" and "Lies of the Beautiful People".
The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack, often referred to as simply The Heroin Diaries, is the debut studio album by Sixx:A.M., a side project of Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx.

The music video, which premiered on www.SixxSense.com on February 16, 2011, 12:00AM ET / 9:00PM CT, shows an introduction by Nikki Sixx, and followed by changing live shots of the band, as well as photographs shot by Sixx himself, and taken from his second book This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography and Life Through the Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx, on which the album This Is Gonna Hurt is based on.
On-air personalities include the Mojo Murray Morning Show in morning drive; the Temple of Rock with Brian Temple in mid-days; Chris Wright, the 2009 Small Market Personality of the Year from the Alabama Broadcasters Association; and Sixx Sense featuring Nikki Sixx of the bands Mötley Crüe and SIXX A.M. and Kerri Kasem, daughter of legendary personality Casey Kasem.
