Robert Arrigo

He is a prominent businessman in Malta and was a previous Sliema mayor as well as chairman of Sliema Wanderers F.C..


Aaron Xuereb

Aaron hoped to help Hibernians retain the Maltese Premier League title for the 2009–10, however the quest took some severe setbacks, as Hibernians sold the Maltese Player of the Year Clayton Failla to Sliema Wanderers, and Striker Terence Scerri joined Valletta.

Brian Said

Brian now an integral member of the Maltese national team produced some great performances during his time with Sliema Wanderers, and even became the teams captain, taking over from Sliema Wanderers legend Noel Turner.

It is possible that Said will form a partnership with another former Sliema Wanderers defender, in the shape of Carlo Mamo.

Cleavon Frendo

Frendo made his league debut for Valletta on 25 August 2008, coming on as an 76th minute substitute for fellow new recruit Marcelo Peabirú in a 1–1 draw with Sliema Wanderers.

Phil Power

He moved to Sliema Wanderers in 1988 and helped them finish 2nd in the Maltese Premier League.

Roderick Bajada

During the close season Sliema Wanderers signed Clayton Failla and Ryan Fenech, leaving Bajada’s first team opportunities limited, he decided to join Marsaxlokk on a season long loan, his new club were due to start this season in the Maltese Premier League, however following a guilty verdict on corruption case from the previous season, Marsaxlokk were demoted to the Maltese First Division.
