She is the daughter of Rabbi Dr. David Eliach and Dr. Yaffa Eliach, renown Holocaust Scholar and professor emeritus at Brooklyn College.
She has a daughter, Smadar Rosensweig, Professor of History at Touro College (NYC), and a son, Yotav Eliach, the principal of Rambam Mesivta High School.
