After leaving Dead Kennedys, 6025 is rumored to have briefly played with The Residents before being replaced by Philip "Snakefinger" Lithman.
Night of Desirable Objects was Snakefinger's fourth and final studio album, recorded with the Vestal Virgins and released by Ralph Records in 1987.
The material comprises Snakefinger's first single and tracks from his first two albums co-written with The Residents for Ralph Records.
Recorded as a break from their film project Vileness Fats, the album was home produced and recorded throughout 1973 with help from fellow musician Snakefinger and based around N. Senada's "Theory of Phonetic Organization".
Philip Charles Lithman AKA Snakefinger was a posthumous collection released by The Residents' fan club organization, Uncle Willie's Eyeball Buddies, or UWEB.
Snakefinger, a long-time friend and collaborator of The Residents, was encouraged by the group to record his own material for their label.
The video was directed by Graeme Whifler, who gained notoriety for directing music videos for bands such as The Residents, Renaldo and the Loaf, Yello, Tuxedomoon, Mx-80 Sound, Snakefinger and many other artists on the Ralph Records label.
