During the second half of the decade, starting in 1936, Darl'mat's Peugeot-based coupes and cabriolets were built at the Peugeot plant in Sochaux.
He organized the destruction of the Peugeot factory at Sochaux by convincing the local director, who was already resisting, to cooperate with SOE.
In 1984 work started to convert a large workshop on the edge of the company’s historic Sochaux site into a museum building to house the collection: this opened to the public in 1988.
