The wedding took place on June 3, 1942 at 10 am in a Roman Catholic church in the district of Solec.
Forge activists usually met in the Kołłątaj's house that was located in the Solec neighborhood in Warsaw.
Historically it is composed of three neighbourhoods: the Powiśle proper, Mariensztat to the north (just below the Warsaw's Old Town) and Solec to the south.
Furthermore, Solec Zdroj is the starting point of a red tourist trail, which leads to Busko Zdroj, and a stop along green trail from Wislica to Grochowiska.
It stayed there until September 3 as a reserve of the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Army, then was ordered to prepare the defence of the Vistula river line between Dęblin and Solec.
