Holy Molar is a noise rock band from San Diego, composed of members that play or have played in The Locust, Antioch Arrow, Charles Bronson, Heroin, Cattle Decapitation, The Crimson Curse, Glass Candy, Get Hustle, Swing Kids, Das Oath, Struggle and Some Girls.
This led to him playing on several The Rolling Stones tracks ("Some Girls", "Send It to Me" and the aforementioned "Miss You").
At the beginning, comedian Lil Duval is presented in front of a car trying to talk to some girls.
The album features a diverse collection of songs including “Good Morning Starshine” from the musical Hair, “Yesterday” by Aimee Mann, “Love Changes Everything” from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Aspects of Love, and “Some Girls” by Lisa Burns and Sal Maida.
The music video for the song featured band members Grant Nicholas, Taka Hirose, and the late Jon Lee on a beach shot in Cape Town, South Africa, implementing various methods of reeling in some girls.
In Simon Goddard's track-by-track book Songs That Saved Your Life, Johnny Marr describes the song as "a beautiful piece of music", while the author writes, "Possessing one of his most alluring guitar melodies... if Marr's tune was heaven-sent, then it seemed very nearly blasphemous of Morrissey to christen it 'Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others' and bestow it with its notoriously frivolous lyric".
Tennessee Lee then appeared to introduce Sawyer Brown who performed 'backing vocals', to their song Some Girls Do with Jeff Jarrett.
