In January 2010, she was awarded the Ruby Award by Soroptimist International for her "War on Women" coverage on her television show.
She has received Soroptimist International awards: “Woman Helping Women” and “Woman Advancing the Status of Women.”
She was also a founder member and secretary of the East Grinstead Women’s Soroptimist Society.
Recently Soroptimist International has raised over £1million to help disadvantaged women and children in Sierra Leone face their futures with confidence, in partnership with the international charity Hope and Homes for Children.
